Digital Prepress & Graphic Design Coordinator

Artemax is seeking a Digital Prepress & Graphic Design Coordinator will be responsbile for leading our Art Department! We are growing exponentially and need additional help to keep up with demand. We are seeking a dynamic, organized and process oriented individual who can coordinate and manage the workflow while also contributing and supporting art render and company branding.

Shift: Days(8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)

  • Leads and manages the entire Art Department
  • Coordinates and enhances all processes related to the Art Department
  • Manages pre press workflow and assignments
  • Ensures quality assurance standards and processes for art content on all products and the overall company brand image
  • Manages productivity metrics and responsible for maintaining a weekly performance scorecard
  • Develops backup for all positions to ensure smooth operation of the Art Department at all times
  • Reviews, recommends change, layout and approves design proofs for wristband imaging
  • Maintains template consistency for file quality for both print and electronic media
  • Produces, corrects and outputs plates/file for offset and digital presses
  • Creates and reviews proofs prior to final product/production
  • Develops best-in-class techniques and processes for entire Art Department
  • Prioritizes and aides in time management of team to ensure all deadlines are met
  • Communicates effectively throughout entire organization
  • Assists with website, print and all media including photographs
  • Assists with graphical ads as needed for Marketing Department
  • Creates templates, drafts and design specs for company imagery
  • Understands the use of colors, inks, paper qualities and pre press processes

Education and/or Experience

  • Associate degree within graphic design or equivalent
  • Min. of 2 years of lead/supervisor experience
  • Digital Prepress experience within printing industry is preferred
