Many companies reflect on the previous quarter from a business standpoint, but at Artemax, we also utilize this time to show our appreciation for our people. Without their hard work and dedication, our success wouldn’t be possible.
Towards the end of the quarter, we ask our employees to take a few moments to nominate a co-worker of theirs. We ask them: who has gone above and beyond over the last three months? Whether it’s putting in the hours to satisfy our customers’ needs, or simply being a reliable member of the team, Artemax knows it’s all important in recognizing our employees.

Over the years, we’ve learned that this nomination means a lot to our people, and the Associate of the Quarter event creates an opportunity for interaction across departments and most importantly: employee recognition.
For the 2018 year, we have had the chance to award the title “Associate of the Quarter” to two individuals already. For Q1, we identified Stephanie Barutha – our Laser Engraving Operator - as highly-deserving of this title. Aside from perfect attendance, she was dedicated to getting the job done right. Many of her co-workers stated that Stephanie was ready to take on the additional work that was needed for her department to be successful, as well as the company as a whole.

For Q2, Ashley Gerger stepped up in her role as our Administrative Assistant. Our team can always rely on Ashley as our “go-to” person in the office. Whether it be getting employees on board with an upcoming social event, or jumping in when another department needed help, Ashley is always willing to lend a hand.
To celebrate our Q2 winner, we hosted our Associate of the Quarter luncheon where everyone enjoys a special, themed lunch and participation in our raffle (see prizes below). Ashley wasn’t the only one who went above and beyond this quarter. Our luncheon is an opportunity to recognize those that have maintained perfect attendance, too.
